He was predeceased by: his parents, Wesley Banks and Bertha Banks (Morgan); his wife Fairy Banks; and his siblings, Beatrice Brown, Virgil Banks, Ruth Crittenden, Roy Banks and Carlos Banks.
He is survived by: his children, Edward Banks (Marilyn) of New Palestine, David Banks (Kathleen) of Reidsville, NC and Joan Banks-Moss of New Palestine. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
