With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dwight Whitmer of New Palestine, Indiana, born in Richmond, Virginia, who passed away on June 29, 2022 at the age of 65. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Thelma Whitmer (Dew) and Frank Whitmer; and his brother Donald Whitmer. He is survived by: his wife Leslie Whitmer; his children, Jacob Whitmer and Mollie Gibson; his son-in-law Wryan Gibson; his grandchildren, Wesson, Maelie and Paxton; and his siblings, David Whitmer and Sherry Connor.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made by mail to the JDRF Indiana and Kentucky Chapter, 225 S. East St. Suite 280, Indianapolis, IN 46202 in honor of his granddaughter, Maelie who has Type 1 Diabetes or envelopes will be available at the mortuary.
