He was predeceased by: his wife Wilma F. Herron (Ashworth); his siblings, Muriel Titus and Charles Joseph Herron; and his stepbrother David Johnston. He is survived by: his children, Steve Herron of New Palestine, IN, Cindy Woodward (Mark) of New Palestine, IN and Kathy Collins (Faut) of New Palestine; his grandchildren, Angie Armstrong, Ryan Collins, Amy Herron, Brian Woodward, Katie Herron, Lucas Woodward and Kurt Woodward; his great grandchildren, Caleb, Olivia, Lauren Dickson, Mackenzie Collins, Lilly Armstrong and Callen Dickson; and also Jill Herron of New Palestine, IN.
