It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Doctor Jerald Wayne Mielke (New Palestine, Indiana), who passed away on March 30, 2025, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ervin Mielke and Helen Mielke (Koechert); his stepdaughter Tonya Bullock; his niece Kristine McChesney; and his nephew Olatokunbo Olawoye.
He is survived by: his wife Ingrid Franklin Bullock; his sons, Philip Mielke (Jessi) of Redlands, CA and Adam Mielke (Angel) of Closter, NJ; his stepdaughters, Meredith Raben (Brad) of Evansville, IN and Sarah McKinley (Chris) of Pittsboro, IN; his sisters, Mardelle Knudsen and Janice Olawoye (Olu); his grandchildren, Adelaide, Josephine, Liam, Dean, Nathan, Maggie, Carter and Hannah (Trevor); and his pets, Stella, Zelda and Ziva.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Cross of Grace Lutheran Church (3519 S 600 W, New Palestine, IN 46163). A memorial service was held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
