It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Deressa Smith of New Palestine, Indiana, born in Beech Grove, Indiana, who passed away on March 5, 2021, at the age of 61, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father William W. Bagby; and her stepfather Charles D. Smith. She is survived by: her mother Frieda N. Smith (Reagan) of New Palestine; her children, Casey Byerley (Justin) of Franklin and Corey Smith (Alissa Arnold) of Greenfield; her grandchild Jaxson Byerley; and her brother Dan Bagby (Debbie) of Grand Rapids, MI. She is also survived by aunts; uncles; and many nieces and nephews.
As a reminder, the government mandate requires guests to wear masks when inside our building. We must limit the number of guests at a time and please practice social distancing.
Deressa enjoyed riding with friends in charity events and spending time with her family.
