He was predeceased by: his parents, Archie W. Amburgey and Cordelia Amburgey (Watts); his wife Mary Rose Amburgey (Huggins); and his siblings, Colleen Craft, Betty Jo Vannoy, Margaret Ison, Eddie Lee Amburgey and Mary Brancis Amburgey.
He is survived by: his children, Dave Amburgey (Debbie Nunnally) of Indianapolis and Dana Amburgey of Indianapolis. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and many friends and family.
