He was predeceased by: his parents, Irvin Samuel Bayless and Mary B. Bayless (Hutchison); his stepson Jeremy Rich; and his cousin Sandy Brown (Bayless). He is survived by: his former wife Cheryl Trimble; his children, Kimberly Bayless of Crawfordsville and Robert "Rob" of Medford, Oregon.; his grandchildren, Jadyn, Chloe and Elliott Bayless; his former wife Susan Cook Sylvester Jones; his children, Colleen and Scott; his wife Peggy Skinkle Rich; his children, Jay, Linda, Jamie and Waylon Isaiah; his grandchildren, Gavin, Isabelle, Olivia and Logan Rich; and his son David. He is also survived by his children, wives and many cousins.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Sam's name may be made to Home For Friendless Animals, AWL, Montgomery County Pioneer Association, or Whitesville Christian Church Youth.
