He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Shelton and Letha Shelton (Hayes); his uncle John; his aunt Gertrude Harris; and his sister Margaret Shelton Hybarger.
He is survived by: his wife Janet Diann Hultz; and his children, Jonathan "Hal" Shelton (Sharon) of Virginia Beach, VA, Samuel Shelton (Kathryn) of Crawfordsville, Roberta Stewart (Don) of Crawfordsville and Sarah "Sally" Rodriguez (Andres) of Freeport, NY. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Woodland Heights Christian Church or the American Cancer Society.
