It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Connie Jean Cleek of New Market, Indiana, born in Greencastle, Indiana, who passed away on February 11, 2023, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Cline Maynard and Margaret Jane Spencer (Murphy); her brother Charles Spencer; and her nephew Tony Spencer. She is survived by: her friends, Pam, Carl Sacco, Todd, Lori DeFouw, Chris, Dave Hodges, Milton and Mary Rice; her husband Glen Cleek; her children, Tami Hurt-Stumke (Jason) and Christopher "Chris" Cleek (Michelle); her grandchildren, Riley Hurt, Brita Cleek and Walker Cleek; her pet Toby; her brother Kenny Spencer; and her nieces and nephews, Chuck Spencer, Ryan Cleek, David Cleek, Michelle O'Hollaren (Ryan) and Dr. Elizabeth Cleek. She is also survived by great nieces, nephews, friends, and extended family.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to the New Market Christian Church or the Montgomery County Animal Welfare League.
