He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Boyden and Edris Boyden (Wheeler); and his brother Bob Boyden. He is survived by: his wife Mary Lu; his children, Mike Boyden (Debbie), Andy Boyden (Geralyn), Jamie Boyden (Teri) and Jodi Matthias (Mark); his siblings, Margie Carr, Jim Boyden (Carolyn) and Eva Anne Short; and his children, Disabilities and Lifeway Wesleyan Church. He is also survived by nine grandchildren.
