He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter G. Szajna and Bessie Szajna (Kleinhans); his wife Anne Szajna (Palazzi); and his brothers, Gilbert and Charles Szajna.
He is survived by: his children, Wally Szajna (Laurie) of Woodburn, Michael Szajna of Woodburn and Lisa Woodward (Guy) of Leo; and his sisters, Mary Lou Herbst (Kenneth) of Saxonburg, PA and Debbie Szajna (Nancy Smith) of Monroeville, PA. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren; and twelve great grandchildren.
Preferred memorials are to St. John the Baptist Catholic Church or Cancer Services of Northeast Indiana.
