He was predeceased by: his parents, Ward Crabtree and Lela Crabtree (Fensler). He is survived by: his wife Nicole; his brother Don; and his daughters, Jill Schuckel, Tara Nehls and Lela Crabtree-Guin. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and one granddaughter-in-law; and two great-granddaughters.
