It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thomas Deetz of New Haven, Indiana, born in Hudson, Indiana, who passed away on January 24, 2023, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Willis Deetz and Inez Deetz (Shultz); and his siblings, Sue Striggle, Nancy Gordon, Robert and Larry Deetz.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Deetz of New Haven, Indiana; his children, Becky Leslie of Indianapolis, Indiana and Tim Deetz of Clermont, Florida; his sister Peggy Springer of Auburn, Indiana; and his grandchildren, Madaline Alvarez (Ramiro), Abigail Tipton (Tanner), Thomas Leslie and Audrey Deetz. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
