It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Johnson Yrk (New Haven, Indiana), born in Tell City, Indiana, who passed away on November 24, 2021, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Leistner and Cora Leistner (Hollander); her husbands, Austin G. Johnson and Oscar York; and her sisters, Betty Hoffman and Dorothy Blaising.
She is survived by: her children, William "Billy" Johnson, Joseph Johnson (Cathy), Doreen Hickey (Floyd) and Teresa Brown (Will Emerson); her sisters, Teresa Tafoya and Joann Ferran; and her grandchildren, Joshua Johnson, Jeremiah Johnson, Kambria Johnson, Dean Johnson, Justin Johnson, Ashley Johnson, Emily Phillips, Timothy Lunsford, Chase Wood, Jacob Wood, Alivia Wood, Hannakate Wood and Adeline Brown. She is also survived by great grandchildren.
