Kenneth A. Messmann Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Kenneth A. Messmann of New Haven, Indiana, who passed away on December 11, 2024 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Kenneth may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Kenneth touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Elwood Messmann and Luetta Messmann (Goeglein); his daughter Deborah Meadows; his granddaughter April Rose Acosta; and his brother-in-law Edgar Vondran.
He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Messmann (DeSuza); his daughters, Rhonda Acosta (Douglas) and Lisa Kimmel (Dan); his son-in-law Bill Meadows (Lesa); and his sister Charlene Vondran. He is also survived by 21 grandchildren; 48 great-grandchildren; 13 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, December 21st 2024 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Emanuel Lutheran Church (800 Green St, New Haven, IN 46774). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Emanuel Lutheran Cemetery (11801 Edgerton Rd, New Haven, IN 46774).
