He was predeceased by: his parents, Willis Bennett and Ruth Bennett (Roemke); his daughter Katrina; and his brother Jack Bennett. He is survived by: his wife Peggy; his son Chris Bennett (P. J.); his grandchildren, Ryan, Aaron Bennett, Jake and Claire Crozier; and his siblings, Beverly Hoeppner of Fort Wayne, Karolyn Bennett of Woodburn, Bruce Bennett of Arizona and Mike Bennett (Charlotte) of Tennessee.
