With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of John David Korte (New Haven, Indiana), born in Fort Wayne, Indiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 9, 2024 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, John A. Korte and Verona Korte (Klopfenstein). He is survived by: his wife Ellen Korte (Geiger); his sons, Brent Korte (Nicole) and Eric Korte (Lisa); his brother Alan Korte (Sue); and his grandchildren, Garrett (Mackenzie), Logan, Lauren, Landin, Alex and Hayden Korte.

Preferred memorials are to St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Fort Wayne, and Parkview Hospice.
