Though Jane may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Jane touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Theodore Heine and Esther Heine (Hockemeyer); her husband Donald Gene Brown; and her sister Joan Reichhart. She is survived by: her daughters, Cheryl Birkmire (Andy) of Monroeville, Connie Schmidt (Greg) of Woodburn and Carla Alexander (Ray) of Fort Wayne; and her sister Maxine Knipstein. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, October 29th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Wednesday, October 30th 2024 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM. A funeral service was held on Wednesday, October 30th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the Emanuel Lutheran Church (800 Green St, New Haven, IN 46774).
Preferred memorials are to the church or Worship Anew.
