He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Sechler and Ellen Sechler (McDuffee); and his siblings, Doris Parrish and Ron Sechler. He is survived by: his wife Sandy; his children, Shaun Sechler (Jackie) of New Haven and Melissa Amstutz (Eric) of New Haven; and his grandchildren, Austin, Hailie, Ian Amstutz, Celeste and Alex Sechler.
Preferred memorials are to Parkview Home Health and Hospice or DNR Hunter Education.
