He was predeceased by: his parents, John Pyle and Gwendolyn Huey (Bryan); his wife Alice Pyle (Brunner); his grandson Erik Pyle; and his siblings, Robert, Bill Pyle, Imogene Hart and Maxine Davis.
He is survived by: his children, Fred Pyle (Nita) and Brenda Shaffer (Gayle). He is also survived by 3 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
Preferred memorials are to Stillwater Hospice Home, Fort Wayne.
