She was predeceased by: her mother Mary Jo Essex (Neal); and her brother John Evans. She is survived by: her children, William "Chris" Evans of Texas and Megan Chase of Jacksonville, FL; and her siblings, Joel Essex (Kathy) of New Haven and Mary Jayne Eagleson of Fort Myers, FL. She is also survived by two grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Preferred memorials are to Stillwater Hospice, Fort Wayne.
