He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Meyers and Eva Meyers (Forsythe); his wife Joyce; his son James Meyers; and his brother Terry Meyers.

He is survived by: his children, Kathy Koch (Rudy) of New Haven, Susan Love (Bob) of New Haven, Ronald Meyers (Mary) of Kenosha, WI, Linda Screeton (Terry) of Rochester, Karen Knuckles (Brent) of Pierceton and David Meyers (Lori Renner) of Navarre, FL; his grandchildren, Amy Rupp (Brad), Jennifer Wells (Jesse), Greg Koch (Susan Niemeier), Adam Love, Matthew Love (Katherine), Jack G. Meyers, Cassie Smith (Luke), Cameron Screeton (Rylee), Carter Screeton (Maggy), Rodney Knuckles, Wesley Knuckles (Kayla), Josh Meyers (Elisabeth Runser), Alexis Meyers and Caitlyn Meyers; and his close friends, Elizabeth Jane Shultz and Martha Street. He is also survived by 14 great grandchildren.
