He is survived by: his wife Diana Sowles (Cain); his sons, Andy Sowles (Elizabeth), Jay Sowles and Corey Sowles; his stepdaughter Jennifer Swanson; his stepmother Pat Borquart; his grandchildren, Kailah, Shelby and Caleb Sowles; his brothers, David Sowles and Stephen Sowles; his half-siblings, Bobby Monhollen and Monica McKinley; and his stepsiblings, Alan Cook, Paul Cook and Kathy Dierk (Phil Barnes).
