He is survived by: his wife Marlene Springer (Bandelier); his children, Marjean Litzenberg (Leonard), Lloyd (MaryJo), Wendell (Brenda), Darryl (Dorinda) and Lon (Shannon); his grandchildren, Trent (Alison), Lindsay (Griffin), Ardimus (Rebecca), Cody (Joy), Olivia, Ethan and Malayna; his great grandchildren, Mason and Elliot; and his siblings, Marlo Smith (Ron), Larry (Pam), Alan (Darla) and Denny (Ninetta). He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Friday, December 27th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Hockemeyer & Miller Funeral Home (6131 St Joe Rd, Fort Wayne, IN 46835). The military honors will be held on Friday, December 27th 2024 at 5:00 PM at the same location.
