David L. Wade Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of David L. Wade (New Haven, Indiana), born in Fort Wayne, Indiana, who passed away on December 11, 2020 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ross Wade and Lillian Wade (Stoll); his siblings, Norman R. Wade and Lois; and his brothers-in-law, Gary Welker and Dale Getz.
He is survived by: his wife Norma; his children, Cindy Perugini (Tony) of Fort Wayne, Cheryl Wade of Fort Wayne, Christine Martin (Dan) of Fort Wayne, Carol Dellinger (Jeff) of Fort Wayne and David W. Wade (Heather) of Fort Wayne; his sisters, Donna Getz of Fort Wayne and Carol Rinehard (Roy) of Shawano, WI; his sister-in-law Emmalee Wade of Fort Wayne; his aunt Ruth Stoll; his grandchildren, Tony, Dominic Perugini, Dawn McCarthy (Sean), Danielle Martin-Williams (Jerome), Danica, Daniel Martin, Madi, Kayla Dellinger, Haley and Cameron Wade; his great grandchild Jack Williams; his grandson Rev. Matthew Wietfeldt (Jenna); and his great grandchildren, Halle, Olivia, Clara, Audrey and Eliza. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Funeral service will be privately held for the family and will be streamed live and recorded for friends and loved ones at 1:30 p. m. Monday on the HolyCross FW YouTube page. It is with great sadness that we will miss seeing your faces and getting your hugs during this time because of Covid-19.
In lieu of flowers, preferred memorials are to Holy Cross Lutheran Church, Concordia Lutheran High School Educational Foundation – David and Norma Wade Scholarship, or Worship Anew.
