It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Charles Monroe of New Haven, Indiana, who passed away on May 14, 2023, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Sammie Monroe and Mercedes Monroe (Logsdon); and his sister Brenda Monroe. He is survived by: his wife Gloria Monroe (Jenkins); his daughters, Tammy Gerardot (Brian) and Melissa Tilley; his grandchildren, Mason Childress, Joshua Childress, Lydia Gerardot, Ashleigh Kayser, Abby Pick and Alisha Bontrager; and his siblings, Paxton Monroe (Orpha), Anita Perry (Emitt) and Wayne Monroe. He is also survived by 7 great grandchildren.

In lieu of fresh flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Stillwater Hospice of Fort Wayne, Indiana and the local VFW Chapter #47.
