He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Bowers and Edith Bowers (Marquardt); his grandson Matthew Lawrence; and his siblings, John and Betty Jane Bowers.
He is survived by: his children, Jani (Mac), Jennie Jordan (Roy), John Bowers (Karen), Joan Knight (Kurt) and Jerry Bowers; and his sisters, Beverly Yingst (Ned) and Lois Ann Lovinger. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren; 35 great grandchildren with two on the way; and two great great grandchildren.
