He is survived by: his mother Marie Trela of Highland, Indiana; his grandson Bryson; his sons, Casey (Lesa) of Evansville, Grady of Evansville, Riley (Natalie) of Los Angeles and Bailey of Brooklyn; his grandson Jace Trela of Evansville, Indiana; his siblings, Tim Trela (Maryclare) of Chicago, Bruce Trela (Leanne) of Lake Forest, Brian Trela (Beth) of Memphis and Maryann Schaefer (Mike) of Ogden Dunes; and his close friend Karen Davis Brown.
