He was predeceased by: his son David Basham; and his sister Regina Dunlap. He is survived by: his mother Jean Basham; his daughter Schelle Shelby (Korey); his siblings, Don Basham (Angie), Jeff Basham, Frieda Haggard (Bob), Paula Howard (Bobby), Jeanette Rice and Patty Basham; and his grandchildren, Paige Basham, Carson Shelby, Jalyn Shelby, Jacilyn Basham and Owen Basham-Hess.
