With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Helen Ann Wasson of New Harmony, Indiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 11, 2024 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Norman Mathew and Madge Mathew (Maddox); her husband Gene Wasson; and her sisters, Jean Morgan and Anita Curtis.
She is survived by: her children, Debbie Lyke and Rick Wasson; her siblings, James Elwood "Bud" Mathew (Nancy) and Phyllis Arias; her grandchildren, John Lyke (Tammy), Brent Lyke (Kelly) and Amanda Ipock; her great grandchildren, Jordan, Wyatt, Ethan, Evan, Elsey and Bobby; her great great grandchildren, Piper and Rhett; and her pet Carly.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 14th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Werry Funeral Homes, Inc. (615 Brewery St, New Harmony, IN 47631). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 14th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, September 14th 2024 at the Laurel Hill Cemetery.
