It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Ernest William Rapp of New Harmony, Indiana, who passed away at the age of 83, on February 21, 2025. He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl William and Mildred V. Rapp (Cooper); his wife Margaret "Maggie" Lois Rapp (Axton); his brother Dr. George Rapp; and his siblings-in-law, Ben Nefkens and Peggy Rapp.
He is survived by: his children, Dr. Kyle Rapp (Sherri), Ryan Rapp and Stacey Rapp; his sister Helen Nefkens; and his grandchildren, Noah Rapp (Maddie), Thomas of Jackson, Ella, Andrew "Drew" Rapp, Axton and Adelyn "Ady" Gamblin. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 10:00 AM and from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Werry Funeral Homes, Inc. (615 Brewery St, New Harmony, IN 47631). A masonic service will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at the Maple Hill Cemetery (5890 Maple Hill Rd, New Harmony, IN 47631).
