He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles "Buster" and Mary Brand (Holland); his wife Sarah Brand (Young); and his brothers, George and Donnie Hatch.
He is survived by: his children, Chuck Brand (Angie) of Wadesville and Christine Brand of New Harmony; his brother Richard Hatch (Sharon) of Florida; his granddaughters, Audrey Mosby (Robert) of Poseyville and April Peterson (Tim) of Evansville; and his great grandchildren, Autumn Mosby and Ella Peterson.
