James Byerley Obituary
We are sad to announce that on November 27, 2021, at the age of 40, James Byerley of New Goshen, Indiana, born in Terre Haute, Indiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Mary, Archie Salin, Alberta, Carl Ersbo, Lawrence, Rosa Jukes, Jim Byerley, Max Shelato and Myah.
He is survived by: his parents, James L. Byerley and Linnette Jukes Byerley; his fiancé Kasey Chew; his daughter Keilani Byerley; his brother Doug Shelato (Amanda) of St. Bernice; his aunts and uncles, Terri Fern (Steve), Jeanne Stamper, Larry Jukes (Robin) and John Jukes; his nieces, Hannah Shelato and Emma Shelato; his nephew Wyatt Shelato; and his great-nephew Landon Lee. He is also survived by his friends, family, nieces, and nephews.
James "Lee" Byerley, 40, of New Goshen went home to the Lord on Saturday November 27, 2021 at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center following a long and courageous battle from complications of Covid-19.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Lee's name to Parke-Vermillion Humane Society to carry on his lifelong passion towards animals in need.
