William Wayne Clampitt Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Wayne Clampitt of New Castle, Indiana, who passed away on January 12, 2025, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Dale Clampitt and Leona Clampitt (Hatfield); and his brothers, Charles and Robert Clampitt. He is survived by: his wife Margie Clampitt (Hillenburg); his children, Scott Clampitt (Lana) of New Castle, Cheryl Betten (Michael) of New Castle, Annette Clampitt of Dayton, OH and Lisa Huff (David) of Noblesville; and his friend Ann Kneisly of Dayton, OH.. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 12:00 PM. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the South Memorial Drive Church of God (3800 S Memorial Dr, New Castle, IN 47362).
Memorial contributions in Bill's memory may be given to the Karing Keenagers or to the youth group at the South Memorial Drive Church of God, 3800 S. Memorial Drive, New Castle, IN.
