He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Dishman and Laura Dishman (Edwards); his siblings, Kenny, Dallas Dishman and Della Christine; his niece Tessa Cook; and his nephew Jason Dishman.
He is survived by: his wife Sylvia Dishman (Fielden) of New Castle; his children, Jeff Fielden of New Castle, Michael Dishman of Rushville, Traci Dishman (Susan Crowe) of Knightstown and Todd Dishman (Becky) of Rushville; his grandchildren, Brandi Ploeger, Brandon Dishman (Ranni), Alexa Dishman, Ryker Dishman, Austin Bodehamer, Alyssa Helfer (James), Travis McColley (Amy), Trey McColley (Katie Lee), Kaelee Wooldridge (James Happe), Colleen Dishman, Ben Marriott (Ciana) and Levi Dishman; his siblings, Don Dishman of New Castle, Thomas Dishman (Jamie) of Indianapolis, Robbie Dishman (Marsha) of Royalton and Anna McCrobie (Jeff) of New Castle; and his siblings-in-law, Tim Christine of New Castle and Eleanor Clevenger (Charlie) of New Castle. He is also survived by 17 great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Memorial contributions may be given to the St. Jude's Children's hospital.
