It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sylvia A. Rigney of New Castle, Indiana, who passed away on January 7, 2025, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Sylvia A. Rigney to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Foster and Elizabeth Foster (Neal); her husband Willie Rigney, Jr.; her son Danny Darryl Rigney; and her siblings, Kenneth, Russell, Donnie of Sam, J. T., Marvin, Theo Foster, Goldie Denney, Lillis Stonecipher, Audrey Patton and Betty Gibson.
She is survived by: her children, Judy Rigney, Michael Rigney (Georgia) and Priscilla Robin Willson; and her sister Linda Groce. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren; 5 great great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service (3406 S Memorial Dr, New Castle, IN 47362). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the same location.
