He was predeceased by: his parents, Everett K. Stevens and Charlene Neal Smith; his in-laws, Bill and Ruth Hayworth; and his sister-in-law Jan Hurst.
He is survived by: his wife Judy Hayworth Stevens of New Castle; his sons, Seth Stevens (Amy) of New Castle and Kyle Stevens (Allie) of Los Angeles, CA.; his grandchildren, Maren Stevens of New Castle and Sean Stevens of New Castle; his siblings, Pam Pyle (Tom) of Spiceland, Jeff Stewart (Joyce) of Lewisville, Gretchen Derrickson (Mike) of Spiceland and Hardy Stevens (Rae) of Carrollton, KY; and his brother-in-law Bill Hurst of Portland. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, aunts, cousins, and countless friends.
