She was predeceased by: her parents, Johnny Burchett and Elizabeth Burchett (Dicken); her husband James "Jig" Brown; her son Steven Brown; her grandson Christopher Smith; and her siblings, Frankie Coleen Marcum, Mary Watson, Frances Frost, Junita Deram, Laure Tallent, Elaman Reed, Suwannee Maradeth, Irene Peregin, Bertha Stone, Lewis, Jeff, James, Bill, Charles and Donnie Burchett.
She is survived by: her children, Gary Williams (Kim), Rachel Smith (Alan), Jackie Brown and Clinton Brown (Kaleigh); her grandchildren, Mallory Roush (AJ), Audrey Williams, Jacy Kirk (Justin), Gabrielle Williams, Alex Smith, Hannah Henderson (Zach), Cassidy Smith, Grace Smith, Jacob Brown, Chad Brown (Liz), Shawn Brown (Taylor), Grant, Gavin and Evelyn Brown; her siblings, Dottie Pope, Jean McLaughlin and Doug Burchett; her sister-in-law Denise Burchett; and her caregiver Wanda Ford. She is also survived by 17 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service (3406 S Memorial Dr, New Castle, IN 47362). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
