It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Peggy Ann Guffey of New Castle, Indiana, who passed away on December 15, 2024, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Estell and Para Lee Perdue (Massengale); her husband James Eugene Guffey; her siblings, Gene, Darrell Perdue, Lucille Guffey, Uldean Choate, Joan Smith and Sandy Dixon; and her siblings-in-law, Bonnie, Martha Perdue, Carl Guffey, Ralph Choate, Glen Smith, Sam Simpson and Bill Chesney.
She is survived by: her children, Lisa Cross (Tracy) of New Castle and Eric Guffey (Lisa) of New Castle; her grandchildren, Vince Guffey, Jimmy Guffey (Joy), Kailei Dale (Zach), Nolan Snyder (Teasia), Chase Hancock (Tori), Christin Hancock (Brandon), Kinzie Guffey, Casey Bevans, Cara Litten, Daren Brumley, Meghan Ledbetter and Aaron Cross; her great grandchildren, Addison, Avayah, Brantley, Jackson, Jacob, Ezra, Emanie, Eden, Emma, Jaylenn, Bentley, Hallie, Aiden, Westyn, Cami, Parker, Oaklyn, Brenden, Dax, Adrian and Ava; and her sisters, Phyllis Winchester (Homer), Lela Chesney and Connie Simpson. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
