Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Nancy Sue leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Daniel and Nellie Easter Oakes (Sanders); her siblings, Dan Oakes, Becky Hooper, Tom Oakes and Carolyn Ertel; her niece Dawn Oakes; and her nephew Benjamin Brenan.
She is survived by: her siblings, Betty Brenan of West Lafayette and John Oakes (Linda). She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
