Marilynn Horak Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marilynn Horak of New Castle, Indiana, who passed away on February 7, 2025 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edgar C. Thompson and Hazel D. Thompson (Kitchen); her husband Frank Horak; her siblings, Robert Thompson, Paul Thompson, Ron Thompson and Jean Norris; her niece Rhonda Weesner; her nephew David Thompson; and her brother-in-law Mark Holland (Bud Norris).
She is survived by: her son Aaron Horak; her granddaughters, Ellianna and Emily Horak; her sisters, Janet Holland of Versailles and Sonja P. New (Mike) of California; and her sister-in-law Joyce Thompson. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service (3406 S Memorial Dr, New Castle, IN 47362). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
