He is survived by: his wife Cynthia; his grandson Jeffrey Ray Purvis; his great grandchild Morgan Kay Purvis; his siblings, Duane Lacy, Joan Tungate (Leonard) and Linda Wise; his siblings-in-law, Zelda and James Wise Sr.; and his brother John Stephen (Steve).
