He is survived by: his children, John Groce (Allison) of Richfield, David Groce (Stephanie) of Danville and Kimberly Groce (Alan Niederman) of Fort Lauderdale, Florida; his grandchildren, Devann Taylor, Luke Short, Conner Groce, Garrett Groce, Taylor Short, Cole Short, Beau Short, Camden Groce and Cate Groce; his great grandchild Weston Short; and his pets, Hank, Lupa, Gemma and Icey.
