Kenneth Burris Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Kenneth Burris of New Castle, Indiana, who passed away on December 17, 2024 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lilburn Burris and Marie Burris (West); and his sons-in-law, Allen Maloyed and Bradley Dillon. He is survived by: the mother of his children Donna Sue Burris (Hoel); his children, Chrissy Dillon, Beth McIlwain (Jeff), Aaron Burris and Trisha Burris; his grandchildren, Joshua Maloyed (Jessica), Brittney Rottinghaus (Spencer), Chelsey Rea (Josh), Dalton McIlwain, Hayden McIlwain (Katie), Jace McIlwain, Ivey McIlwain, Ashley Cheesman (Dylan), Tyler Burris, Alyssa Burris, Caleb Lehr-Burris, Jacob Lehr-Burris and Kenley Hudson; his great grandchildren, Laney, Piper, Harlow, Max, Caito Maloyed, Kooper, Sophia Rottinghaus, Jordan and Jade Rea; his grandchild Richie Binford; and his brothers, Ford Minton, Jeff Pyle, Charlie Derrick, Gerald Cline and Tud Wilkinson. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service (3406 S Memorial Dr, New Castle, IN 47362). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial Contributions will be made to the American Legion of New Castle.
