He was predeceased by: his parents, Jacob Dellinger and Clara Dellinger (Snyder); his son Paul Dellinger; his great grandchild Cole Booher; his siblings, Kenneth, James, Larry Dellinger, Lula Hayes, Ruth Benchani, Mary Saunders, Martha Chapman, Alice Barnett and Bertha Stillabower; and his brothers-in-law, Curtis Potter and Homer Potter.
He is survived by: his wife Gertrude Dellinger (Potter); his sons, Trent Dellinger (Missy) and Mark Dellinger (Lori); his grandchildren, Amber Dellinger, Christy Decker (Scott), Nathan Dellinger, Rebekah Fitzwater (Kyle), Jacob Dellinger (Katasha), Harlie Anne Dellinger and Jonathan Dellinger (Hannah); his great grandchildren, Shelby, Cammille, Deagon, Tyler, Taylor, Mark, Evie, Jude, Clay, Annalie, Lindsay, Jason, Joab and Joanna; his daughter-in-law Annette Wells (Jim); and his brothers, Tom and Russell Dellinger. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
At the age of 80, he started sewing, making many baby quilts and lap robes to donate to nursing homes.
