He was predeceased by: his parents, Willard McGuire and Martha McGuire (Utt); and his siblings-in-law, Linda Banta, Shelby Hagerman, Mary Walden, Billy Floyd, Jack Haynes, Gary Stone and Jerry Walden.
He is survived by: his wife Linda McGuire (Cleek); his children, Lindsay McGuire Matavuli (Emma) of Bloomington, Karyn Gordon (Charles) of New Castle, Tia Riggs (Aaron Stewart) of New Castle, Tara Denney (Travis Wallen) of New Castle and Justin McGuire (Lynn) of New Castle; his grandchildren, Grey Britton, Teagan Brown, Luke Denney, Kairi McGuire, Thailand Wade (Matt), Andrew Lindsey, Jordan Lindsey (Aubrey) and Melissa Gordon; his great grandchildren, Graham and Averie Lindsey; and his siblings, Priscilla Floyd of Greenfield, Robert "Bobby" Banta of Springport and Rebecca Ashby (Larry) of Muncie. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service (3406 S Memorial Dr, New Castle, IN 47362). A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be given to the Dementia Society of America with envelopes available at the funeral home.
