She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred C. Doss and Betty Kiphart (Withers); her husband Greg Darnell; her son David A. Mitchell; her son-in-law Patrick Davis; her siblings, Nancy Herdering, Sandy Renegar and Fred Doss; and her stepmother Reoma Doss.
She is survived by: her stepfather Richard Kiphart; her daughters, Kristi Davis of Muncie and Traci Holmes (Todd) of New Castle; and her grandchildren, Jena Ciempola of Muncie, David Ciempola (Brittany) of Anderson, Chelsye Davis of Royerton, Brittany Riggs (Cory) of New Castle, Tiffany Truitt (Brandon) of New Castle, Sarah Boyd (Alex) of New Castle and Tyler Holmes of San Diego, California. She is also survived by 15 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
A reception will be held on Sunday, March 2nd 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service (3406 S Memorial Dr, New Castle, IN 47362).
