He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Hamm and Martha Hamm (Stewart); his sister Laura Jean Neal; his sister-in-law Penny Jane Miller (Knotts); and his parents-in-law, Mefford B. and Dorothy Knotts.
He is survived by: his wife Diane Knotts; his sons, Thomas (Mary Louise Reynolds) of Richmond and Duke (Cathy) of New Castle; his grandsons, Benjamin (Emily) of Spiceland and Matthew (Laura) of New Castle; his great grandchildren, Simon, Jude and Selah Hamm of Spiceland; and his siblings-in-law, Cathy Jo Kenemer of DeLand Florida and J. Michael Miller (Sue) of Paso Robles, California. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service (3406 S Memorial Dr, New Castle, IN 47362). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial gifts may be made to New Castle First Friends Meeting or the Penny Jane Knotts Miller Fund at the Henry County Community Foundation.
