James Eugene Cook Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Eugene Cook of New Castle, Indiana, born in Richmond, Indiana, who passed away on August 1, 2024 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Cook and Vera Cook (Brown); his brother David Cook; his parents-in-law, Ed and Pat Baker; and his siblings-in-law, Delores Cook, Jim and Tom Baker.
He is survived by: his wife Pat Cook; his children, Carol Phelps (Shane) and Jimmy Cook (Jenn); his grandchildren, Masen Phelps (Lilly), Averi Phelps, Jordon Cook, Lyla and Ella Shue; his nieces and nephews, David Cook (Cindy), Danny Cook (Stephanie), John Cook (Connie), Brenda Blitchington (Scott) and Sue Cleek; and his siblings-in-law, Dan Baker (Liz), Dick Baker (Bonita) and Gerry Baker. He is also survived by several other nieces and nephews.
