Irene A. (Slagle) Bertram Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Irene A. (Slagle) Bertram (New Castle, Indiana), who passed away on April 13, 2025, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Vincent Slagle and Edna Mae Slagle (Dobbs); her son Randy Bertram; her brother Ottis Slagle; and her former husband Cletus Bertram.
She is survived by: her son Dan Bertram of Chesterfield; her siblings, Ruth Huckeby (Hurlen) and Donald Slagle (Soundra); her grandchildren, Christopher Bertram and Amanda Perkins (Brian); and her great grandchildren, Trevor Bertram, Lola Sawyers and Jackson Perkins. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service was held on Thursday, April 17th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the South Mound Cemetery (505 Bundy Ave, New Castle, IN 47362).
Memorial contributions may be given to Madison County Humane Society.
